Professional Development & Learning Academy was established to provide exclusive support for CPA Program candidates. Our aim is to provide access to quality and flexible support for the Professional Level education segments offered by CPA Australia, both domestically and internationally. PDL Academy has been approved by CPA Australia to be an authorised provider of tutorial support to candidates undergoing their CPA Program. Our approval was the result of meeting their strict criteria and quality assurance standards. Historically, without the benefit of experienced professional tutorial support, a significant proportion of candidates fail. The demands of compulsory segments and electives have presented professional level candidates with challenges not previously experienced, often resulting in disappointment and unplanned delays in becoming a CPA. To address the high failure rates, and in recognition of the difficulties candidates face juggling their respective work and personal commitments around private self-paced study, PDL Academy has assembled an experienced team of highly qualified professional accountants/academics with expertise in each of the respective skill sets required to provide the value added support for CPA program candidates. PLD Academy is offering support for the professional level compulsory segments in Semester 1, 2011. It is intended to expand our support offering to professional level electives and foundation level segments from Semester 2, 2011.
